The mortgage broker Vantage Finance has been purchased by Enra Group in a bid to become “the UK’s biggest specialist mortgage business”, in the words of chief finance officer Emily Gestetner.
Ms Gestetner commented on the importance of the latest acquisition to Enra Group: “This is a significant step for Enra. Vantage’s specialist mortgage broking expertise underpins the group’s leading presence in specialist distribution, where Enterprise Finance is already a leading master broker.
“As the group develops new specialist lending propositions in these areas, this acquisition marks our intent to achieve our goal of being the UK’s biggest specialist mortgage business.”
Vantage will continue their brokerage work under the same name and management and in the same location. Managing director of Vantage Finance, Lucy Hodge, said: “Having established Vantage almost 14 years ago and grown it to the successful business it is today, I am excited by the opportunity to work alongside the talented and successful management within the Enra Group and taking Vantage to the next stage of its growth whilst contributing to the wider group.
“Our ability to leverage the financial and back-office strength of the group gives us a strong platform to accelerate the growth of the Vantage business.”
