Financial Advice Centre to merge with Sterling Rock

Financial Advice Centre, a wealth management firm, and Sterling Rock, a mortgage broker, have announced a merger. Both firms are based in Worcestershire and currently recommend the other’s services to their clients, but have now decided to merge under the Financial Advice Centre brand to offer a comprehensive service.

George Roberts, the founder and director of Sterling Rock, called the merger a “natural and straightforward” process, given the close relationship already established between the two firms.

Managing director of Financial Advice Centre, Piers Mepsted, commented: “We are currently celebrating our 20th anniversary year, so this is an exciting development for us and an exciting time to be announcing it.

“Our wide variety of clients ranges from younger clients looking to protect their family’s financial future with life assurance and income protection to inheritance tax and legacy planning.”

Mr Roberts and his team of three advisers have moved from their office in Malvern to Financial Advice Centre’s offices in central Worcester.
