Gunner & Co. Support Envision

Last weekend, our MD Louise Jeffreys completed a 240 mile bike ride to raise funds for one of Gunner & Co.’s core charity partners – Envision.

Starting in our home-town of Bristol, Louise set off down over the Mendips, through some familiar local scenery, riding past Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor, continuing into Devon and ending day one on Weymouth Beach.

Day two was the highlight of the ride for Louise, setting out from Weymouth as the sun rose, with horses out in the sea (with riders atop!!). Louise and the group kept the sea on their right as they headed along the Jurassic coastline, lunching at Sandbanks and then through the New Forest (more ponies – this time without riders!). Two ferry crossings got the team into Southampton in good time for a well-earned rest.

The final leg took the group through the northern edge of the South Downs, ending with a group arrival in Guildford just after lunch.

Gunner & Co. have supported Envision for a number of years. We are passionate about supporting young people entering the workplace, given our day jobs often centre around retirement planning.

The Envision programme empowers young people to develop their confidence and the essential skills they need for life and work – Communication, Creativity, Determination and Teamwork.

If Gunner & Co. have supported elements of your exit planning over the last few years and you’d like to give thanks, please support this great charity.
