Titan Wealth has announced its second acquisition of 2026. The group plans to purchase Plymouth-based Sound Financial Management, a move that will increase its total assets under management and advice (AUMA) to £44bn.
Sound Financial was founded in 1997 by Adam Pollard. The firm oversees around £600m in assets under advice and supports 5,000 clients. Once the transaction completes, the Sound Financial team will join Titan Wealth as part of its regional expansion.
Pollard said joining Titan Wealth would provide access to a wide range of in-house services. These include discretionary asset management, investment solutions, and advanced technology platforms. He added that these capabilities would enhance the firm’s client service, while keeping client outcomes at the centre of the business.
The Sound Financial team includes eight financial advisers with a combined 87 years of experience. They work alongside 16 administrators and paraplanners and six back-office staff. Together, they provide operational depth and scale in the South West.
Andrew Fearon, joint group CEO and head of M&A at Titan Wealth, said the acquisition strengthens the group’s capabilities in the region. He highlighted Sound Financial’s breadth of services and experienced team as key factors supporting Titan Wealth’s growth ambitions in Plymouth and surrounding areas.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.
