Waverton Investment Management has announced the acquisition of London-based independent financial planning and investment advisory business, Timothy James & Partners.
Two of the leading financial services companies based in the West End of London are merging their expertise. Waverton Investment Management and Timothy James & Partners are bringing together their award-winning investment management and financial planning businesses. This combination of services will provide a spring board to develop a best in class, holistic wealth management offering to the benefit of the clients of both businesses.
This acquisition will enable Waverton to complement its current discretionary investment management offering with a full range of financial planning services. The combined business will bring independent planning services to Waverton clients who will benefit from advice on inheritance tax, pensions, corporate finance, mortgages, savings and corporate and personal protection.
In collaboration with Waverton’s investment professionals, Timothy James & Partners has designed a set of bespoke investment portfolios for its clients in line with each client’s appetite for risk.
Timothy James & Partners will retain its own brand and identity and continue to operate from its West End offices as an Independent Financial Adviser under the Waverton Group umbrella.
