According to The Sunday Times, it is understood that Wells Fargo are considering various possible UK takeovers, including fund groups Henderson Global Investors and Jupiter Fund Management, which are worth £3.2 billion and £2.1 billion respectively.
Chief exec, John Stumpf, is apparently making no secret of his desire to expand, and is reported to want to double the size of its fund business in the coming 10 years.
