Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers, the advisery arm of Old Mutual, has announced the acquisition of DQS Financial Management, based in Devon.
The DQS Financial Management comes with 650 clients and adds £200m of assets under advice to Old Mutual, and will now become a restricted advice business and use funds from Quilter Cheviot and Old Mutual Global Investors. DQS will also rebrand as Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers.
DQS staff, which includes five advisers and founding directors Chris Dyson, Rob Quaintance and Carrie Payne, will remain with the business.
Old Mutual Private Client Advisers is an AR of Intrinsic, Old Mutual’s advice network, launched in 2015. Their growth strategy is to set up 10 ‘hub businesses’’ nationally (through acquisitions), and make further smaller acquisitions to feed into those hubs.
