National firms merge

National financial advisers Foster Denovo has merged its charity solutions employee benefits business into its dedicated employee benefits division Secondsight.
Acquired in 2015, Foster Denovo Charity Solutions has supported a significant number of organisations across the third sector for more than ten years, offering advice to charities’ employee benefit and pension needs.
Secondsight works with more than 400 charities and businesses.
The merger follows on from extensive back office integration. It will now be supported by one standalone back office system.
CEO of Foster Denovo Roger Brosch said (pictured above): “We felt the time had come to maximise the benefits to both corporate and charity clients, and believe that each business division can learn from the other. It therefore made complete sense to combine the two separate employee benefit teams into one, under the Secondsight brand.
“Our acquisition of the Charity Solutions business last year supports our intent to concentrate and invest in further acquisitions to drive growth in the future.
“We continue to invest in innovation across the entire business to deliver best practice for our clients and this merger will support our efforts in creating efficiencies, as we work towards growth.”
